VIC: Two times lottery winner falls on hard times
MELBOURNE, Feb 23 AAP - A former rabbit trapper won first division in Tattslotto twice
within six years, but fell on hard times when instant wealth drove him to abuse alcohol, a
court has been told.
Raymond Robert Williams, 55, of Lavington, near Albury on the Murray River, was sentenced
to three months' jail in Albury Magistrates' Court yesterday for a series of offences
including assault and malicious damage.
During a plea for leniency, a close friend, Warwick Phegan, said Williams left school at
