FED: Possible sighting of letter bomb car in Sydney: police

SYDNEY, Dec 3 AAP - A car sought by police in connection with a letter bomb campaign
targeting tax office and human rights commission staff may have been seen in Sydney today.

Detectives were investigating a possible sighting of the blue 1985 Toyota Corona sedan at
north-western Dural around 7am (AEDT), NSW Crime Agencies Superintendent Peter Dein said.

"A car matching this description with ACT registration plates was seen near Dural this
morning and this is being further investigated," Supt Dein said in a statement.

"At this stage members of the public sighting the vehicle or the man are warned not to
approach but contact police immediately."

Australian Federal Police this afternoon also released the name of a man wanted for
questioning over the bombs.

He is 43-year-old Colin George Dunstan of Canberra.

Mr Dunstans neighbours in the northern suburb of Palmerston said he was a former
Australian Taxation Office employee who had been out of work for a number of years.

Supt Dein confirmed packages similar to the one which exploded at the Canberra Mail Centre
yesterday had been recovered in Sydney.
