Qld: Man arrested over murder earlier this year
A 58-year-old man has been charged with the murder of another man in central Queensland
earlier this year.
Police say the man, from Rockhampton, has been arrested for the murder of 53-year-old
LESLIE JAMES OPIE.
Mr OPIE received head injuries after an altercation at Gracemere, on the outskirts
of Rockhampton, on April the 17th.
He died of his injuries nearly three months later.
The 58-year-old man appeared before Rockhampton Magistrates Court today and was remanded
in custody until February the 24th.
